On Sunday, July 19, the finals of the 36th Open Stade Français—one of the most prestigious international tennis tournaments for players aged 14 and under—took place on the historic clay courts of La Faisanderie, in the heart of the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud.
 

After a week of intense competition played in scorching heat, the tournament's top 128 young players—64 girls and 64 boys representing 55 nations—competed with talent, determination, and sportsmanship to earn their spots in the finals.
 

Following the two finals, an elegant trophy presentation ceremony hosted by Jean-Philippe Lustyk gave the organizers an opportunity to thank all the partners, umpires, service providers, and volunteers whose commitment contributed to the success of this 36th edition.

François Lhospitalier, President of Stade Français, and Ms. Sandi Procter, Vice-President of Tennis Europe and Chair of the Junior Committee, then presented trophies to the finalists and winners.

Ms. Hélène Nourdin, Deputy Head of the Interministerial Communication Department and State representative, presented the two winners with the President of the Republic’s Prize, symbolized by an honorary medal.

❖ Girls' Singles
South Korea’s Seohyeon Kim (seeded No. 8) claimed a commanding victory over the top seed, Italy’s Olivia Séréna Conticello, winning 6-1, 6-2. Determination, fighting spirit, and talent defined her performance throughout the week, allowing her to defy the odds and secure the title at this 36th edition.

❖ Boys' Draw
There were fewer surprises in the boys' draw, as the tournament's top seed, Rafael Papoian, secured a decisive 6-1, 6-1 victory in the final against Muhamad Eyad Saleem—the impressive Syrian player who had made a surprise run to the title match. Match after match, Papoian confirmed his status as one of his generation's top prospects. Solid, disciplined, and particularly effective on clay, he lived up to his billing as the favorite throughout the tournament.
 

❖ Doubles
In the girls' event, Vega Bontin (Sweden) and Tina Jansone (Latvia) claimed the title by defeating the South Korean pair of Seohyeon Kim and Tae Hee Kim, 6-1, 6-2.

In the boys' event, Yanru Li (China), partnering with Anastasis Mosaikos (Cyprus), won the title after a hard-fought final against the Scandinavian duo of Mads Dianati (Denmark) and Jimi Juvonen (Finland): 6-4, 0-6, 10-5.

Once again, the Open Stade Français lived up to expectations, bringing together the world's top under-14 talents on the courts at La Faisanderie. For over thirty-five years, the tournament has established itself as an international benchmark and serves as one of the world's premier showcases for the future of tennis.
