Press Conference 2026 Edition
Paris, May 20, 2026 - Gathered in the Auditorium of the Roland-Garros Stadium, François Lhospitalier,
President of Stade Français, Jacques Jutteau, President of the Tennis Section of Stade Français,
and Gilles Moretton, President of the French Tennis Federation, officially announced the
launch of the 36th edition of the Open Stade Français, an international tennis tournament for players aged 14 and under.
The event will take place at the Stade Français from July 10 to 17, 2026 on the historic clay courts of La Faisanderie, in the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, with the finals held on Saturday, July 18 on Court No. 6 at Roland-Garros, thus offering the best young players in the world a unique experience in an exceptional setting.
On this occasion, the organizers unveiled the sporting program for this new edition, which will bring together more than 200 players from 55 nations. They also presented the "Attitude" program, a flagship initiative of the Stade Français Open, under the patronage of the French National Commission for UNESCO.
Beyond the competition, this program allows young participants each year — often discovering Paris and France for the first time — to experience a true cultural immersion through unique experiences: a visit to the Palace of Versailles, a discovery of the Louvre, or pastry workshops with the École Ducasse, a loyal partner of the tournament for the past five years.
The organizers also revealed the patron of this 2026 edition: the young French player Ksenia Efremova, a former participant in the Open Stade Français in 2021 and 2022, and currently entered in the main draw of Roland-Garros 2026. Her trajectory perfectly illustrates the tournament's mission: to reveal the talents of tomorrow.
This launch conference finally provided an opportunity to thank all the institutional partners — the French Tennis Federation, the Île-de-France Tennis League, the Paris Tennis Committee, the Île-de-France Region, the City of Paris, the City of Saint-Cloud and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux — as well as the long-standing private partners including Crédit Mutuel (Caisse de JB Clément de Boulogne-Billancourt), La Vallée Village, Head, Eurocom and Appart’City.

Quotes from the launch:
François L’Hospitalier, President of Stade Français:
“The Stade Français Open “Land of Champions” is first and foremost a fantastic tennis competition; I would even say it’s the Roland-Garros for young players, taking place at La Faisanderie in an absolutely wonderful and magnificent setting. But it’s much more than that. Beyond performance, the Open is more than just a major tournament; it’s a life experience for these young players, embodying the values we hold dear: education through sport, respect, commitment, and a taste for hard work.”
Jacques Jutteau, President of the Tennis Section of Stade Français:
« En accueillant des joueuses et des joueurs de 55 nations, notre grande fierté est aussi
d’emmener ces jeunes visiter la Tour Eiffel, le château de Versailles, découvrir Roland-Garros,
faire des ateliers culinaires pour découvrir un pan de la culture française et ainsi leurs offrir une
expérience de vie inoubliable. »
Jacques Laurent, Director of the Stade Français Open:
“This is a tournament of a different ambition, a different dimension. Thanks to our ‘Attitude’ program, centered around culture, beautiful visits, and wonderful encounters… Being a champion in your sport is good. Being a champion in life is better!”
Gilles Moretton, President of the French Tennis Federation:
“A huge thank you to Stade Français for organizing this international tournament, a showcase of talent, for the past 36 years. And we are delighted to host the finals at Roland Garros.”
Ksenia Efremova, Godmother of the 2026 edition of the Stade Français Open:
“I’m so happy to be the godmother of the 2026 Stade Français Open. I hope all the players have a blast at this tournament. Because I think it’s the best tournament in 14 years. I have incredible memories. Good luck to everyone!”
